A Wonderful Present from Walt Disney World
Thea is a pretty girl living in a small town in America. She is the little princess of her parents as she is the only daughter with two brothers. She grew up a smart kid and her parents were being admired by others because of having a smart kid. Thea had given her family many awards as she is the topnotcher in their classroom. Aside from being smart, the girl is also jolly, friendly and sweet. She always help her mother to do their daily chores as what her mother always told her to do so. Every Sunday, the family goes the church and after that Thea and her brothers enjoy watching the television changing the channel to their favorite television channel, the Disney channel. The kids have always wished to go to the Walt Disney world and have fun. It was their dream to be with their favorite cartoon characters such as Mickey but they know their parents cannot afford to go there.
Every year, Thea’s father would give her a present after having many medals and awards in their school. One time her father gave her a necklace with her name carved on the pendant and a small beautiful Barbie pouch. Thea was very thankful that her father appreciates her efforts and is grateful of having her as their daughter. Thea’s little brothers were also smart and can be seen in their early years. The kids have never asked for more from their parents but rather are contented because they know that was all their parents can afford to give them. The kids would only celebrate their birthdays together with the family eating out in the restaurant and going to church to give thanks. Their family was very close and they have the big support each and every one of them.
It was the week before Thea’s birthday and her father asked her if what the gift she wants for her birthday is. The girl only answered that she only wants her family be always happy. But deep inside she has the dream of going to Disneyland seeing the beautiful palace and the rides in the wonderful world of Disney. Their father can hear what the kids talk about every time they watch their favorite Disney cartoon characters. They talk about when will they see and experience the fun in the Walt Disney world riding in the amazing rides and having some pictures with Mickey and the other Disney characters. The would then laugh and say many things that they imagine they would have fun doing of in the Disney land. But they do not know is that their father heard about it and have saved money to give them a present.
Thea’s father worked hard and told their mother that he want to save money to give their children a very special surprise gift. Their mother got excited as she have heard about it and said that she is willing to help her husband about the present. Long have the couple hide their plans to their kids and the kids had never even noticed about their secrets. Their family has always watched the Disney channels shows and their parents would ask them about the cartoon characters. The family enjoys talking about the Walt Disney world and how eager the three kids want to be in that place. Their parents would only nod their head and smile and Thea got sad as she sees the expression in their parents’ face. She thinks that their parents also want to be with them in that place but unfortunately they cannot afford to.
The school year has ended and kids had their vacation. The family would only go to beach and to their grandmother’s house during summer. But now, the vacation routine was out and it was changed. A new vacation plan and venue was approved and that was to go the Walt Disney world. The kids woke up early in the first day of summer and have their breakfast. Their parents excitedly told them to prepare their belongings as they will travel for their vacation. The kids would only smile as they know they will only go to the beach and to their grandma’s house again and again. The kids went to their bedroom and started to pack their bags. Their father smiled and told their mother that it was really the time to change their vacation plans as it seems to be a boring vacation for the kids.
The kids brought their bags into the car and sat at the back of their car. They travelled and it seems that the kids were not that excited with the trip. Suddenly, Thea got curious why they travel a different route and her father just smiled. The kids fall asleep as the trip took so long and when they woke up all they see is the beautiful Walt Disney world. They were very happy and the two boys got so excited and keep on jumping as they saw Mickey welcoming them. The kids were so amazed of all the characters and the place they saw. They thanked their parents and they keep of talking on what will the rides that they will have first. Their parents would just follow their kids and ride on what their kids chooses. After having a good fun, the family ate and as the night came, they saw the beautiful fireworks that amazed all of them. Their eyes got big as they saw the colorful and brilliant lights up in the sky as though it was only a dream. The happiness the family felt was different as they experienced the amazing rides in the Walt Disney world.
